A series of introductory classes on colour grading for both photography and video. The course is suitable for beginners with an interest in photography and videography who want to make their pictures and/or videos look more professional with tools such as Lightroom, SnapSeed and/or Lightroom Mobile for DSLR and phone photography, and Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve for video.

Prerequisites
- No prior or limited experience in filmig
- Participants must bring at least smartphones capable of recording photo and video.
- Participants must bring their own laptop computers with Lightroom or similar programs for photography and Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve for Video installed (working licenses, trials, or demo)
- Participants are required to bring a minimum of 16GB flash drive and/or hard disk.
Course Objectives
- Introduce the participants to colour correction and the grading process in consumer to professional applications and programs.
- Provide an overview and training of available software for colour grading for photography and videography such as:
- SnapSeed and/or Lightroom Mobile
- Lightroom
- Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
- Apply the course material to their own photos and videos, choosing the right tools, equipment and software to maximize efficiency and productivity in the their personal workflow.
Course Outcome
Participants will be able to utilize the skills learned in the course to design a colour scheme, look and feel for their photos and videos, making them look more professional for both personal and commercial use.
