This course is designed for people with an interest in creating video content but not necessarily a short film or a documentary. Students will learn the process of creating a YouTube video (vlogs, reviews, viral clips, etc.) from concept to execution – including choosing the right equipment (phone vs DSLR, LED panel vs ring light), production accessories, and editing and NLE software basics.

Prerequisites
- No prior experience in filming needed.
- Participants must bring smartphones capable of recording photo and video.
- Participants must bring their own laptop computers with NLE software (Premiere Pro, iMovie, Final Cut, etc.) installed (working licenses, trials or demo).
- Participants are required to bring a minimum of 16GB flash drive and/or hard disk.
Course Objectives
- Produce video content in various formats including but not limited to vlogs, reviews, viral clips, etc.
- Assess appropriate equipment and workflow for video content.
- Ability to edit, export, and publish video.
Course Outcome
Students will be able to plan and conceive a concept for a video, prepare the equipment for production, and follow through with an end product ready to upload and publish on YouTube.
