This course is designed for beginners and intermediate editors alike to understand the post production workflow of colour correction and colour grading through DaVinci Resolve. The students will learn how to navigate the program and apply it to his/her production as well as how to operate the industry standard DaVinci Resolve console.

Prerequisites
- Some experience in filming and ending needed.
- Participants will need to download DaVinci resolve (Studio or Free version) onto their laptop computers.
- Participants are required to bring a minimum of 16GB flash drive and/or hard disk.
Course Objectives
- Introduce the participants to the colour grading process and workflow as well as terminologies, particularly in DaVinci Resolve.
- Provide an overview and training of functions in DaVinci Resolve.
- Ability to operate the DaVinci Resolve console at intermediate to moderate level.
- Apply the course material to their own videos.
Course Outcome
Participants will be able use the industry standard DaVinci Resolve software to colour correction grade a desired look for their personal and commercial projects. The course is a good introduction and transition for intermediate to moderate editors looking to acquire more skill in post-production.
